Prof. Dr. Muhammet GÜVEN
Prof. Dr. Muhammet GÜVEN was worn in Konya in 1966. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1989 and earned the title of medical doctor. He completed his specialization training in the field of Internal Diseases and Intensive Care at Erciyes University in 1995.He became an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor at Erciyes University and undertook many administrative functions between 2001 and 2018. He worked as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (2010-2016) and Rector (2016-2018) at Erciyes University.Prof. Dr. Muhammet Güven carried out many important duties such as Member of Intensive Care Commission of the Ministry of Health, Member of TUKMOS (Curriculum Setting System) Intensive Care Commission of the Ministry of Health, Member of Board of Specialty in Medicine, Member of Board of Healthcare Professions, Member of YOK (Higher Education Board) Medicine-Health Working Group, Member of University Hospitals Working Group, Member of TUS (Examination for Specialty in Medicine) Commission, Substitute Member of Pricing Commission for Medicines and Medical Supplies, Member of Health Policies Scientific Consultation Board, Member of Additional Payment Commission, Member of Executive Board of the Turkish Internal and Surgical Sciences Intensive Care Association (2005-2014), Chair of Executive Board of the Turkish Internal and Surgical Sciences Intensive Care Association (2008-2011). He is also a member of European Society of Intensive Medicine (ESICM), Turkish Internal and Surgical Sciences Intensive Care Association, Turkish Thoracic Association and Hospital Infections Association.
He is married, with five children.
